The Behringer Eurocom MA4008 Installed Sound Multi-Function Mixing-Amplifier allows you to distribute audio and page listeners within two speaker zones. The unit consists of two Class-D mono amplifiers, one for high-performance low-impedance speakers and the other for 70- or 100-volt speakers. It features eight channels of mic/line inputs on Euroblock connectors with switchable phantom power, individual trim pots, and post-trim LED level indicators. In parallel, the device also includes four switchable microphone XLR/line TRS combination jacks with phantom power switches, and four dual summed to mono RCA jacks for sources such as MP3 players and TV tuners.
In addition to the two main outputs, the mixer-amplifier also includes a pre-master main mix output for recording and a line-level send and receive loop for external effect processing. The unit is capable of up to 80 watts of output. The front panel features level controls for each input, as well as high and low equalization settings for adjusting the main mix output. The mixer-amplifier is designed for installed sound applications that require continuous operation, distributed music, and paging such as education, business, retail, fitness, and hospitality.
