Streamlined Design and Clean Amplification for Two-Channel Audio
At Onkyo, our love of music runs deep. You can hear it in every audio and A/V system we make. Embodying that spirit is the TX-8030, a stereo A/V receiver with carefully selected parts and a streamlined design that brings power and finesse to your music, movies, and games. Driving it all is a massive transformer that works alongside a discrete amplifier design incorporating high-quality 8,200 µF capacitors. Onkyo’s WRAT technology provides clean and precise amplification for all your favorite audio sources, while Zone 2 pre-outs let you enjoy distributed audio in a second room. The superior build quality of the TX-8030 is exemplified by its gold-plated terminals and sleek aluminum front panel.
WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology) Delivers Higher Fidelity
Onkyo’s WRAT concept was developed to improve signal-to-noise ratios, and enhance the fidelity of amplified audio. The technologies work to reduce noise across the frequency range, guaranteeing a clear, well-balanced performance. It does this by employing a low negative-feedback amplifier design; using “closed” ground-loop circuitry to cancel noise from individual circuits; and by ensuring high instantaneous current capability to cancel reflex energy and impedance fluctuations from the speakers.
Discrete Amplifier Design with Quality Parts
Unlike an amplifier design based on an integrated circuit (IC), a discrete amplifier design incorporates individually selected parts into the circuit board. This enables engineers to fine-tune the amplifier circuits for optimal sound quality. In the case of the TX-8030, the amplifier section also incorporates a massive EI transformer and two large 8,200 µF capacitors that work to provide a stable current and power supply.
Play Your Audio Sources in Two Different Rooms
Zone 2 pre-outs on the TX-8030 allow you to send a stereo audio signal to a second room equipped with an amplifier and a pair of speakers. You can either enjoy the same source in both rooms, or play a different source in Zone 2.
