The Shure BETA®54 is a subminiature, electret condenser headworn microphone. It provides uncompromised sound quality and reliability with minimal visibility in applications such as broadcast, theater, and touring. Despite the small size, the condenser element delivers full, clear, and natural reproduction of speech and vocals.
The microphone features a durable, low-profile wire frame headband which is fully adjustable for stability and comfort. A plastic carrying case protects the microphone and its accessories.
The Beta 54 now features improved RF immunity against cellular and RF devices.

What is the BETA54 best suited to?
It´s a premium headworn microphone that is ideal for lead and backing vocals on stage and for live recording applications.
How does this compare to the BETA53?
Both mics look similar, using the same ultra thin design. The Beta53 has a flat response and is omnidirectional, making it more suitable for spoken word in quieter environments, whereas the BETA54 has a tailored response and is supercardioid, making it more suitable for vocals in loud environments such as on stage.
