This chart is designed to help you find compatible replacement components for your wireless microphone system. The chart is organized by series and then receiver, and will list all compatible transmitters for the receiver(s) listed. To find a replacement receiver, find the transmitter model you have and see which receivers are compatible. The transmitter and receiver must always be in the same frequency band, unless otherwise noted.

Shure Wireless Model Numbers
In general, the following rules apply to Shure wireless model numbers:

A 1 indicates a bodypack transmitter (e.g., ULXD1).
A 2 indicates a handheld transmitter (e.g., ULXD2). Handheld transmitters are always sold with a microphone capsule attached (e.g., ULXD2/SM58). The available capsules vary by series.
A 3 indicates a plug-on transmitter (e.g., UR3).
A 4 indicates a receiver (e.g., ULXD4).
A 5 indicates a portable receiver (e.g., UR5).
A 6 indicates either a boundary mic (e.g., ULXD6) or a guitar pedal receiver (e.g., GLXD6).
An 88 indicates a dual receiver (e.g., BLX88).
An 8 indicates a desktop base/gooseneck transmitter (e.g., ULXD8).
