What is the maximum distance that MoveMic can be used?

Answer

Maximum distance of any wireless system is somewhat dependent upon the interference environment it’s being used in, line-of-sight from the transmitter to the receiver/phone, and lack of reflections for the wireless signal. The most challenging environments for MoveMic is a wide open outdoor field or a very crowded WiFi environment such as a major tradeshow.
Our users tell us that they often shoot video content within approximately 3-6m (10-20ft) because the video content becomes too small to be practical in many cases at further. That said, if you always maintain line-of-sight and the environment isn’t too high in WiFi traffic, then MoveMic can easily go 90M (300FT) or more.
Please note that if long range is important for your applications Shure has other portable wireless systems that are better suited to your needs: SLX-D portables and Axient portables.
While there's no single number that captures range, the specification is noted as 30m (100ft).
